The original Stereoscopic Atlas of Human Anatomy was made between 1948 and 1962 and contained a total of 221 viewmaster reel with 1.554 3D images of all the internal parts of the body. The total work covered as many as 23 books. The edition was made by Dr. David L. Bassett, in collaboration with William B. Gruber, the inventor of the View-Master system. This book is a small version of the original and contains 83 of the original images, on 12 reels. In the book are drawings and explanatory texts for each image. A unique work with a historical background. A must for every doctor, medical student, or anyone interested in the human body.
