This is one of the best works on the history of stereo photography. Wim van Keulen discusses, amongst others, the processes in order to create stereo images and 3D cards. Also he discusses various stereo viewers, used between 1838 and 1900. The book itself is beautifully illustrated (black & white), but also contains 12 view-master discs with 84 reproduced stereo views of the discussed time period. Topics include Europe, America and England. This English book is a must for real stereofans and view-master lovers.
